Lee Kim JD, CISSP, CIPP/US
Principal, Keytera
Lee Kim, Principal of Keytera, advises organizations on cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, and artificial intelligence. She brings a multidisciplinary background spanning technology, law, and policy, with extensive experience across public- and private-sector environments.
Lee provides strategic guidance to Fortune 100 companies, public-sector entities, and smaller enterprises. She previously served as a team leader and analyst with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Public-Private Analytic Exchange Program (AEP).
Lee serves as faculty for IANS Research and the Practising Law Institute and is a contributor to the SANS Institute. She is an AV Preeminent® rated attorney, and holds the CISSP and CIPP/US certifications. In addition to being a licensed attorney, she is also a registered Untied States patent attorney (admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office). She is an experienced attorney in private practice and as in-house counsel. She is also an experienced EU GDPR data protection officer (DPO).
Lee presents on cybersecurity, privacy, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies and has spoken at conferences hosted by the FDA, DHS, CERT/CC, NIST, and the Practising Law Institute, among others. Her publications include blogs, articles, and books for legal, technical, and industry audiences. She has been quoted by the Associated Press, Axios, CBC News, NPR, WIRED, Politico, Chicago Tribune, and USA Today, among other outlets.
